"November 2009 was the second year for this race. It was well organized with lots of volunteers along the route to direct traffic and handle the water stops. The course went through downtown Augusta, past old mansions, around Lake Olmstead and along the retail section of Broad Street. It started and ended at the Commons on Broad Street. There were 690 finishers so it isn't a large race. The crowds were thin but it was 7:00 AM on a Sunday morning! I'm going to do it again next year."
