"The Survivor Harbor 7 is a smaller race (about 2,000) and is WONDERFULLY organized. There is a 4 mile option and the 7 mile option. Plenty of busses pick you up at the finish line to bus you to the start line. The course goes various parts of the Harbor area of Baltimore, including the promenade and through Fort McHenry National Parkwater/wharf. As an out of towner, I was too busy looking at the sights to pay attention to my running! It was great. Very little hills, mostly a flat run. Water every 2 miles and great crowd support along the way. The finish line includes plenty of water, food, and a great "finishers village" full of tents with local sponsors and many different charities. The overall atmosphere of this race is incredibly positive, and I would highly reccomend this race! No T-shirts or medals, but this year we did recieve a tote bag and really cool cycling/running technical socks. (something you can actually use!) The awards for those who place overall, age group, and survivor in the 7 mile race were beautiful plaques with paintings from I believe local artists. "
