"A cold weather race with a course that is challenging, but not too difficult. A major plus for the race is that a large portion of all entry fees go to the Bell Center, an organization that provides treatment to children with genetic disorders whose parents could otherwise not pay for treatment. Because the organizers try to give as much to the Bell Center as possible, the race itself is run on a very tight budget. The half marathon is a single loop and the full marathon is just twice around the half marathon loop. The expo was on the small side, but still fun. You don't get your finisher's shirt until after you cross the finish line. The Track Shack put coarse gloves in this year's race packet and everyone wore them for at least the first two miles after the 34* start! BBQ lunch and after-party were great! I would do it again because it's close to where I live, but I wouldn't travel to it."

"Nice weather for February. The course winds through downtown, so it's a nice urban run. There are quite a few hills, so watch out for those."
