"Great atmosphere and very well run race. My one complaint was that the start was very hectic -- picturesque (read narrow)Boston street meets 7500+ women!
I will definitely be back next year!"

"Really fun race!! So much energy from the runners and the crowd. I was impressed by how extremely well organized this race was for being so large and located right in the city. It was also great to run behind some big names like Sara Hall and Molly Huddle. "

"I thought this race was great! The enthusiasm was especially helpful. Lots of food, lots of drink. Getting there and getting started was a bit chaotic/hectic, but I suppose that has to to with it being in the middle of Boston! Beautiful course at a perfect time of year to run in Beantown! Loved it! "

"Of all the races I've done, the Tufts 10k was my favorite! It was also my first. The fun, festive all-women's atmosphere was a really neat element.
I remember the start being a little bit jumbled, seeing as it began on Beacon Street (which is steep and narrow). But once we got out of the Beacon Hill area, things evened out. In fact, one of the reasons why I loved this race so much was that it was almost 100% flat. The only hills were the bridge on-ramps.
In addition to being flat, the course was also really scenic- it took us over into Cambridge, along Memorial Drive, back into Boston, and up Comm Ave. The finish was right on Boston Common. Another cool feature- there was a switchback at one point on Memorial Drive which was fun because we got to see the runners in the lead as they ran in the opposite direction.
I remember there was sufficient food and drink (Smartwater/Glaceau I believe was the sponsor) at the end, which is always a good thing. I would love to do the Tufts 10k again the next time I'm in Boston during October!"
