"This is a tough race. Of course, in Boulder, you have it all...heat, elevation and loads of talent. The race is very organized, as all 5430 races are. The only reason I would choose to not do this race again, is because in 2010, it becomes property of Ironman North America. I have nothing against IM, other than I know the price will sky rocket. I liked the local race directors. They worked hard and use solar power at all events they put on. They also make their races zero waste events, either composting or recycling almost everything. Oh, and the aid stations had no coke, which stunk. I was in a late wave, so I was not allowed the advantage of coke...boooo. Ugly race shirts, I gave mine back."
