"Great marathon! Great cloverleaf through a beautiful town and tons of crowd support. I am definately thinking of running this race again even though there are thousands of marathons out there to try--they know what they are doing and Burlington is great!!"

"Great spectator course as it does a figure 8 in and around Burlington. Except for a section of highway the course is beautiful. Well supported and great crowds."

"Great race in a great city. The VCM is the only full marathon I've run (twice), and it has been a great experience on both occasions. The town is extremely supportive of the race, and the crowds are great along much of the course. There are some hills (it is Vermont after all), but nothing too bad, and the post race festivities are in a park right on Lake Champlain. I'd highly recommend this race to both first-time and experienced marathoners."
