"I really enjoyed this course. I was at this event as an exhibitor and decided the morning of the race to go ahead and run. The course was challenging, but fair. The roads were not closed to traffic and there were a few inconsiderate drivers on the narrow roads of Avalon that made the path more interesting that it needed to be.
If you are looking to spend a few nights on Catalina Island, have a nice run, and spend the evening around fun people, this is a great event. The post race atmosphere extends well into the evening and everyone is very friendly.
Make sure you plan well in advance for this event. The hotels fill up fast, and they reasonably priced rooms go quick. Don't worry if you aren't able to get a room at the host resort, there are plenty of great places to stay that are much closer to the fun. "

"great, challenging course! Drank lots of Xood, and ran as hard as I could. Plenty of ups and downs. Pacific sports really knows how to put on a great race!"
