"This race is a lot of fun!
The swim is a walk out/swim back. It starts at one end of the beach and ends at the transition area - it's not a loop or out and back swim. If you don't have a wetsuit, it'd be a good idea to walk the beach clothed and have your spectators carry your clothes back when you get in for the swim. The water temp isn't too bad, but the air can be chilly late September in MA.
The bike course is well marked and scenic. Not too hilly - pretty fast.
The run course is an out and back 5k, so it's not too long, and there are plenty of spectators along the way. It's very easy to stay pumped for the whole run!
Lots of good food waiting for you at the finish line!"
