"Overall, this race was awesome. It was the first year this race was held and I was pleasantly surprised with how smoothly things ran. My only complaint was that the race packets didn\\\'t mention anything about parking, so we left our house much earlier than we needed to. There turned out to be plenty of parking and they had lots of signs and police officers to direct people to the parking lots.
The course was published in advance and it was very was well marked with cones, signs, and people cheering you on/telling you which direction to go. The route goes down some residential streets so there were some cars parked along the course, but I\\\'m not sure they could have done anything about it other than ask the residents to keep the street clear. Spectators could have picked any place along the route to set up chairs, etc.
There were nice medals for the top finishers in each age group and trophies for the top female and male overall. The 5K and 10K ran the same course (the 10K had to run the loop twice). I ran the 5K, but I bet some of the 10K people would have preferred a different route for the last half. "
