"nice course for all other distances but the marathon it ran on some highway from miles 10-22 BORING! also start with the 10k and half people so maintaining a good slow strong pace is tough "

"Flat and fast: a good course for attempting to set a PR. My experience was overall positive: a well-organized race fairly easily reached from New York City's 5 boroughs, a lot of people, but not too many. Not the most scenic course, but flat! "

"What was the absolute worst this year was the finishing corals. It was like gridlock. Otherwise, the race was well planned and executed; it could use more spectators; but that's always a problem. The race has many kids volunteering at the water stops; they were very refreshing with their enthusiasm."
