"This was my first 10K. They screwed up the course and the race was actually 6.5 miles. It was pouring down rain and a cool 67 degrees. It is run at 7:30 a.m on July 4th. The course has several very steep hills spread out by a few flat running spots and rolling hills. It was a very challenging race. There were less than 1000 runners in both a 5k and 10k which start at the same time/same line and the 5K veers off and remains flat."
