"This is an awesome race run by awesome people. It is pretty flat all around and it was done in laps this year. I like it much better with the lap setup."

"Start: Approximately 200 people were there, so we were off to a fast start.
500m swim: Water was in the lower 70s. Wetsuit highly recommended.
40k bike: We had a slight headwind going north on Route 66. The course was relatively flat. We repeated the course twice. Traffic was low. Water handouts were given out at the flagpole.
10k run: The run followed a paved road along the lake. We repeated the same course three times, with water and electrolyte handouts at each end.
Overall: Well organized event. We used ankle timers which registered at every transition. Packet pick-ups were available to out-of-towners. "
