"This was SO well organized. My only complaint is that the course got a little tedious through the many miles of greenbelt / bike pathways.
The end was great because there were free massages (and not so many finishers that the line was super long)."

"Eugene was my third race in 13 days...so I wasn't sure what to expect as far as performance. Woke up to rain and knew it was gonna be a good race...hit the start and the vibe in the air was awesome...many great runners and lots of Mojo. Race start and finish was the same place..starts you out on some rolling hills thru a neighborhood...My mistake was heading out with the 3:10 group so at mile 4 I wanted to quit. Pace group 3:30 caught me and I realized that wa my sign to suck it up and race! I have to say the 3:30 pace dude was awesome..George was his name...and he was great at keeping us relaxed..mile 7ish headed onto the bike trail where we split with the halvers..flat and fast from here out...mile 22 I hit the wall...and decided to start doing my own thing...I knew I was going to PR...funished with a 3:32, PR'd..the finish shoot was slammed with awesome fans for all! GREAT BQ race...hook in with the VERY qualified pace groups...awesome..."

"A decent sized race with a nice flat course. It was crowded with a 1/2 marathon / full marathon dual start (rather than staggered). Quite a bit of bike path running, which was challenging when there were people biking the opposite direction on the paths during the race. The sections along the river were really lovely, and there were some great crowds at different points of the race. The aid stations were well stocked with the standard Gatorade and water; some had Clif products. The post-race party was good - they had a pancake feed, but it was for runners only and I wanted to go see the family. I would like to see a race that has a finish area that family and friends can join you in."
