"I did this as my 1st all outdoor triathlon back in 2007 with a friend who like me was new to the sport. I did this one in '09 with another friend who was completely new to the sport.

Trifreaks know how to put on a triathlon. It's just so well organized, better than any other race I've done! What helps is that everyone is extremely friendly, plus the sun was shining and everyone was in a good mood. I had decided not to do the Olympic at the last minute due to under training and switched to the Sprint which was no problem whatsoever. Just as well as I had turned up late anyways.

The entire course is clearly marked and there are loads and loads of volunteers on the course as well as local authorities. It's a great 1st time triathlon and will certainly have you hooked, especially after the food at the end. "
