"Stunning views of Horsetooth Rez and foothills. First 2/3 of the race is very difficult but still well worth the effort; it's my favorite run/ride route in the area!! The last third is along a very boring section of Ft. Collins trails, ending in Old Town Ft. Collins, and is monotonous but nice in that its flat after all the hills. Great race organizers and the shirts/medals are always well above average! The lines for beer are WAY too long though, it would be nice to not have to stand in line through the whole after party. "

"Great and challenging race course, but not nearly as hard as the reverse direction (used in the past). Steep hills at the start and finishes with a subtle downhill with rollers. Well attended and great post-race party. Would love to have 1 more aid station though...I get thirsty!"
