"Challenging, definetly not flat like some southern tri's. The bike course does get a little boring, four laps of the same 7 miles. Swim is a little sketchey but fun. I like this race!"

"Except for the swim, this course is a good one. The swim is in a river, and ever though I've done the course only once, I've heard from subsequent participants the same feedback. The river is too shallow for a tri swim.
Smooth and rural roads made for a good bike and run including a challenging hill complete with covered bridge and switchbacks.
This is isn't a true olympic distance. The bike and run are both long. Bike and run course are on mostly the same route."
