"The course is flat and fast, but a little bit boring. Parking and race morning packet pick-up were a cinch. My only complaint is all of the students running the race. It's great that they want to run, but they were kind of obnoxious and got in the way a little. With all of the runners, I would recommend chip timing as it took at least 2 minutes for me to cross the starting line. Overall, it's a great race, very reasonable fee, and is in a nice area. I'll definitely be back. "

"Enjoyed the run. Overall I was very happy with my performance although knowing there's always room for improvement. I will say the organization of the race left something to be desired and I don't think they need THAT MANY teenagers participating. Congrats to them for running but they do have to realize there's an etiquette/rules to follow when amongst 6,000 other people. A bit annoying..."

"Fast flat course but not too scenic as it loops though the industrial parts of Irvine. Safe and away from traffic with a few fun bands scattered about. Well organized, fun, and a good choice if you're looking to PR."

"VERY fast and easy course. Though it's boring, it's super quick and you run through safe areas in Irvine. It has ample parking and aid stations throughout the course. Also has no hills and all concrete. A lot of loops and "students run" kids but not too bad at all. Easy to run, easy to PR here. "
