"Absolutely amazing race! The course is beautiful and challenging! Very well supported with aid stations with water and sports drink. There was a Gu station at the 8 mile aid station. The weather was perfect. Couldn't ask for better conditions! Would absolutely do this one again :)"

"Incredible inaugural marathon. The organization was top notch, the half was a chill course, but the marathon was very challenging with the back half climbing a bit. However, the runners were rewarded with the most breath taking views I\'d ever seen after those climbs.
After the race we were treated to FREE BEER, tons of local fresh fruit, and good food and some live music.
Did I mention it\'s in Kauai? Amazing place. Full review at my blog here:

"I don't have anything to compare this to except for the Great Aloha Run, which can't compare. The Kauai half course was gorgeous and green - cows, birds, mountains and friendly faces were all around. The expo was very small - I was in and out in less than 5 minutes - but that is to be expected of Kauai, especially for the first race. The only thing I would suggest is more porta-potties. There was 1 per water station. ONE. Besides that, the course was hilly, but beautiful. FYI, the half and full marathon starts together, and shares the first 10 miles together. Also, I heard but didn't realized because I had my own - there was supposed to be a Gu station at mile 10 or so, and it wasn't there."
