"This was a bucket list race. Travelled from Seattle with a friend just to do this. So glad I did. So well organized and put on. It's a massive event with 2000 swimmers and even more spectators! Everyone is friendly and helpful there. Loved this event. Hoping to make it back next year.
You're not allowed wetsuits though, and the water was cold this year (Only 62) so make sure you become accustomed to cold water wherever you are! "
