"This was my first Half ironman. It was awesome! Very challenging but that is what made it so great (the weather definitely made the Bike course seem longer and harder)!
If you are a first timer this course is definitely challenging but very fun and certainly "doable". The bike and run we in very scenic areas and watching the sun rise/break through the clouds and shinning on the lake while swimming was priceless!
The organization was great the food was great the support was great. Well worth the 10.5 hours drive! To all of the volunteers for this race - Thank you! I'll definitely be back again! "

"We did this course as a relay team and had a lot of fun. Seems like it would be a little too hard for a beginner solo, but I'm considering trying it next year. I will for sure if the course is made a little easier.
Very friendly coordinators! Very good race culture."

"this was a fantastic triathlon! although it was challenging for me, it was well run and very unique. the scenery was gorgeous and the support was very nice for being such a small race. it was well worth the 61/2 hour drive. if you are looking for beauty, some challenge and a great environment, this race is for you!"
