"This is an established, well supported and organized race. There is a lot of climbing; you'll face five major hills, part loop and part out and back the course is a mix of fire road and Pacific Crest Trail. The weather can really vary; I have experienced 85f temps and thick low cloud in different years. Often sells out so register early if you dare. Very doable as a first 50 make sure you have the training in the bank as you may find yourself having problems with the cut off time; 13:00 hours!"
