"The course was a bit too hilly for my taste. Also, there are a lot of kids that run this and while I totally support them in their endeavors, they need to learn some race etiquette. Overall, I would do it again just because it\'s a local half marathon and it\'s in December (I like to run when it\'s cooler in LA). The t-shirt we got was also weak."

"To me it's all about the course. The website has very vague course info and no elevation. From what I remember we ran from the zoo at Griffith Park through Silverlake and ended up running through a tunnel downtown to the finish. Drumline at mile 9 was highlight for me.
Was enticed to sign up by option to have bib and shirt mailed for fee. Shirts weren't ready, offered refunds at the race, but then refund wasn't available race day and coupled with difficulty contacting race organizers, didn't receive refund until over a month later. Probably a fluke but slightly annoying. "
