1 Reviews for Garden of the Gods Ten Mile Run

  (07-09-2010)
"This is probably my favorite race and is usually my first race of the summer. It is all in Garden of the Gods Park outside Manitou Springs, Co. The roads in the park are closed to car traffic. Everywhere you look are wonderful red rock formations. The water stops are manned by local cross country teams and they vie for prize money. There are some spectators who came out prior to the roads closing. It is a hilly and challenging course. You start and end in the Manitou springs park which is very family friendly. GOTG is the first race in the Triple Crown of Racing. The depth of the age group awards is dependent on how many in a particular age group. Definitely try it."
