1 Reviews for Stonebridge Ranch Half Marathon

"This was the first year of the Stonebridge Ranch Half Marathon. The course takes you through the master planned community of Stonebridge Ranch in McKinney, Texas. Not a lot to see, but you do get to run through some nice neighborhoods and a canal. A few decent hills, but relatively flat.
The race was small, less than 200, but the Play Tri group did a fantastic job organizing the race. There were lots of aid stations, signs and volunteers. I'm sure there were more volunteers than runners!
I used this as a training run. I had to run 13 miles anyway, so why not do it in a race environment.
If you are looking for bands, crowds and lots of bells and whistles, this is not the race. But if you want a well organized event for a very decent price ($60), I would recommend the race."
