"This was my first triathlon and I have to say I couldn't have found a better race to compete in. Since it was an all women race it took off a lot of the pressure that comes with a co-ed competition. Not only this but everyone is very encouraging and the course offers a great opportunity for beginners like myself. The swim and bike portion were just challenging enough but by the time the 5K rolled around I'm not sure if it was the fact that my legs were giving out or maybe that I didn't train enough but it was a little more hilly on the way out than expected. I will definitely be prepared for that portion next time. I would highly recommend this race to any girl looking to get into triathlons. I'm already signing up for my next one!"
