"The Des Moines Triathlon club has taken over the logistics for this race and it's a good thing. You get a great race at a great price, only $27.
Although the transition set-up/swim start could use some work, the course overall is not too bad.
If you've ever thought about doing a triathlon for the first time, this is a great race to do."
