"This probably won't be your best option for a PR, but it sure was a fun night out! This race coincides with Disney's food and wine festival at Epcot center, which this year featured 26 kiosks with sample-size food and wine offerings from around the world. The race is at night... it begins at 10 pm! The course winds through several Disney theme parks and ends at Epcot, where the food and wine festival offerings (and all the rides except Spaceship Earth) were open until 3 am. The race is very well-run. Disney probably has spent more time and money on how to efficiently move large groups of people around than anyone, and it showed: every aspect of the race ran like clockwork. A few points: (1) the fastest of the corrals, corral a, included everyone who had an estimated finish time of under 2 hours. (2) The course was pretty well lit, but a few small patches of it were a little dim. The course was SMOOTH though. Disney grounds are immaculately groomed. (3) It was cool to get cheered by the Disney characters like Mickey, Minnie, Goofie, the old guy from Up, etc. My favorite was this guy dressed up like the green army man toy soldier from Toy Story. He was doing a very funny drill sergeant schtik. (4) Your spectator friends have to buy a spectator ticket to Epcot. But the party afterwards is worth it. "
