1 Reviews for Oshkosh Half Marathon

"Course: Very nice course through downtown, some residential area, and the UW-Oshkosh campus. Lots of road, some path, and some crushed gravel mixed in for a nice break. The cemetery was a little morbid, but unique. I did not give it a 5th star because of the flimsy piece of wood that bridged a ditch that seemed perhaps a little dangerous. I assume this was temporary.
Crowd: Lots of good support (for a smaller race) at the start and finish areas. A couple of good organized cheering spots were along the course, as well as some well-placed musical entertainment. I was a little disappointed that campus was quiet though, which kept it from getting my 5th star.
Organization: Could have been just a little more prepared at the water stations. There were plenty of them, but I had to skip several because they were understaffed and not ready. Everything from prerace packet pickup, expo, chip pickup, to post race food and awards was excellently done. Just shy of 5-stars here.
Overall: 4 + 4 + 4 = 12 / 3 = 4. That was easy. I would do this race again if it fit within my schedule and racing agenda.
