"This is an excellent race for beginners and repeat racers. There are about 1000 racers and 75% of them are first timers. The best part is the crowds and all the volunteer support. Race bags are always filled with great stuff from lots of sponsors. Love this race and would do it again in a heartbeat."

"This is a huge race, and it always has lots of beginners, which can make it a bit hard to get through the swim course. You end up having to dodge around a lot of people, which can be frustrating. The bike course is pretty darn flat, and a lot of newcomers will have mountain bikes and occasionally clog up the road. The run is on an asphalt cart path with no cars, and rather flat, so it's a great chance to finish up with some speed. Good race support, and a great finish line. "
