"Lots of participants of all ages for this Thanksgiving Day race! Registration and packet pick up was easy. Nice cotton T-shirt part of SWAG. Easy to drive there. I did not see a gear check area, but car access is easy. Plenty of free parking- afterall the start is at a ballpark! The route starts in the parking lot, goes into the street for a short distance before going over gravel and river rock, then ultimately the multi-use paths that most of the route is on. It was an out and back course. Not much need for traffic control. There was water and sports drink provided. This year there were plastic, rather than paper cups. This made it challenging for me to pinch and drink while still running. Plenty of rolling hills, that were relatively minor. Great food at the finish: pretzels, cookies, apple, banana. There was water, sport drink and soda (!) at the finish. Age category winners won pies. Nice volunteers. ChampionChip timing. Not a lot of spectators on the course, but plenty at the finish. A nice race with a "hometown" feel to it. No porta potties here- actual restrooms! (A plus!)"
