"Got to take a weekend off and go up north to Phillips. Signed up for a perfectly placed tri and it went from there.
I got to the expo the day before and went to sign in. They had no record of me registering with Active.com, so I had to fill out another form, but they got my entry the day of, so no big problems there.
The race started at 9:00... but started the course talk at 8, and started boating the people at 8:15. It was a point to point course. The course seemed longer than it should have, maybe because everyone was going zig-zag. The bike went well with not too many hills, but some pretty good head wind on the way back. The run went fairly well, with a sort of out and back course. Took 3rd in my A.G. and got a SWEET hand carved paddle. Highlight of the weekend right there!"
