2 Reviews for Runner's Den Classic Road Races

"This year they had a 5K, a 5Mile , and a "Double Nickel " where a runner can run both distances. The route has changed slightly from previous years, but remains fairly flat through residential streets and by the Paradise Valley Mall. Very organized. Easy registration. Schwag bag with nice Runners Den shirt and the usual info regarding other races and products. Excellent traffic control. Not a lot of spectators, but good crowd at finish/start. 3 water stations along 5 mile course. Food at the finish. Fun race and I plan to participate again in the future."

"This race starts in the parking lot of Paradise Valley mall at the intersection of Tatum and Cactus. So parking was plenty and upclose to the start line, making it easy to have access / leave your extra stuff. Swag includes a nice technical short sleeve shirt. No expo. A few vendors at the race site. Flat and fast course. City streets were closed to traffic either partially or fully for the runners- making me feel safe. There was great food at the finish line from Jason's Deli this year (bagel, fruit). Not a lot of spectators this year, but it was raining (unusual for that time of year), which is the likely explanation. "
