"This is the BEST 5k in the Western PA area.

Its always held the last Sunday of September, its a very quick 5k that runs from Oakland to the Point. Family friendly and well organized.

First mile is flat and then down hill. Can easily run a VERY fast mile and not really feel it at all. A slight turn to the left and then a slight turn to the right.

Second mile, downhill again, slightly right turn, BUT then a slight uphill grade. One you hit the second mile marker, you should get ready to go back downhill and full speed.

Mile 3. Fast, downhill, a little bump up, and then downhill towards the finish. Two turns, one left and one right, and then another right and left towards the point.

You enter the point and the finish is there! Food is fruit, bagels, etc, water. Plenty of it!

Truly a Great Race. Make it a family tradition!
