"I was thinking about this just today! The race is really great for a beginner. The swim was out and back, the bike ride was very easy to see (with policed intersections) and the run was full of sprinklers and water stations.
Unfortunately, the sun can be very bright on the way back to shore on the swim, so wear tinted goggles!"

"Loved this race! My first Oly distance and a 3/11 AG finish made it a great first for me. The swim was a triangle course and easy to navigate. The bike was a double loop of the sprint course, very nice scenery and relatively flat. The run was flat as well, with plenty of aid stations. One porta at mile 3, which I had to use :)
As usual, this is a really well run race, organized with plently of volunteers. Thank you and see you next year!"

"Nicely run, as with most races it sounds like every RD is struggling (a good thing) with high participant numbers, they have off site parking and there was a LONG wait for the shuttle on race morning, however everyone did get checked in and the race did start as scheduled. A swimmers tri as the bike was only 12 miles and the run was flat."
