"This race is the most amazing way to spend Memorial Day Weekend. I call it the triathlon addict's binge weekend, since you do four tris in three days. Its unique format allows you to make connections with other athletes that you don't usually get to make at a typical one day event.
The scenery on the courses is beautiful. The courses are challenging to brutal, but so worth it! It is arguably harder than Ironman.
The organizers are some of the nicest and most accommodating people even though there are sometimes a few glitches in the weekend.
It doesn't draw a big crowd, but the athletes cheer each other on. In 2008, the leader stopped to assist someone he'd lapped on the bike with a flat.
Race volunteers and SAG are great! Wheeliefun Multisport does a great job keeping the bikes in working order for the weekend of heavy hill riding.
Come try it out, just don't take my spot! Race fills FAST!"
