"I loved this race, simply because of the novelty factor. The race takes place in the middle of the night and goes along the Extra Terrestrial Highway outside Area 51 in the Nevada desert. All runners are required to wear headlamps (or carry flashlights) and glow necklaces are given out to participants.
Lots of people dress up in crazy "space person" outfits and the whole race feels like a party.
The race concludes at the Little Ale'Inn in Rachel, Nevada. A full breakfast spread is provided for finishers as well as a cool medal.
Buses are available to transport participants from Las Vegas to the start and back to town from the finish. There are several distances available in the race and all events are walker-friendly."
