"The weather did not cooperate this year, but the race organizers can only be expected to do so much...
The transition area was compact, with ample parking. Next year I might consider taking Metro North to the start. The swim was fairly easy to navigate. I thought that the bike was hillier than average, with one or two challenging climbs, but nothing intimidating. It was disappointing that due to the wet roads I couldn't let go on the downhills, but better safe than sorry. I was a little puzzled that, given how much traffic control there was for the bike course, nevertheless much of the run was open to traffic as well. Still, a good race, and one that understandably sells out very quickly."

"Rained the entire time. The swim course was extremely hard to follow and the water was very choppy due to the weather. Tons of volunteers. The road is very bumpy in certain sections. Overall, pretty flat course with a few hills. Nice run course (flat). Crowd was out in the rain and very enthusiastic. "
