"I loved this race - I thought it was fantastic for a first-timer. The upstream part of the swim was very challenging, but still doable. I wasn't a huge fan of a three-loop bike course (it got a little boring after a while) but I did enjoy seeing the groups of cyclists riding together in this unique draft-legal race. The run course was fantastic, no complaints! I do wish TBF would offer finisher's medals and/or chip timing at their races; that would make them even better. The post-race expo was perfect - great food and three kinds of beer! The awards ceremony went far longer than I expected (I was getting sunburned and tired and hungry by the time my division was announced) but all in all I had a great experience and will likely be back next year!"
