"This was my third year running this race and I've improved my time each year, this year beating my last time by 4 minutes!
I was just reading my review from last year and I said I wouldn't run this race again. I guess I lied. hahaha! This is a really nice course, a few small hills, but not much. It's in a beautiful setting along the Willamette River in Minto Brown Park in Salem, Oregon. The only downside is that it's held at 7:00 PM, a time of day that's hard for me to run. It's small town style, very informal and family oriented. Kids any age can run the 5k. The youngest age group was age 5-9!
If you enjoy evening races and want to bring your family for a fun event, then this is for you. All runners get a free ice cream sundae after the race.
Yes, I'll probably do this again next year. :)"

"This is a very small fun race put on by the Willamette Valley Road Runners. It's a great course in Minto Brown Park in South Salem. The only problem I have with it is that it is at 7:00 PM, which, for me is the worse time to run. That's the only reason I probably won't run it again. I prefer morning races.
