"This is my second year running this race and I would do it again.
Its a fun distance at 12K, yet still covers a beautiful course of starting at the San Francisco Ferry Building, running down the Embarcadero, through Fisherman's Wharf and Crissy Field, up to the base of the Golden Gate Bridge, then finishing in the Presidio.
It started out rainy, but the rain didn't turn out to be a factor.
There is no expo, as your bib and chip are mailed to you ahead of time. The only 2 gripes I had with this race were:
1. The gear check area was mislabeled and hard to find. Everyone was having difficulty locating it.
2. They don't give medals. I'm a bling whore. I want a medal.
After the race they have buses to shuttle runners back to the start, but the lines are long so pack warm clothes to wear while you stand in line."

"You know that feeling when you've been water skiing all day and you finally step on land and it feels like the boat is still rocking? Well that's the way I feel, except I wasn't water skiing, I was in Stockholm, Sweden.
This is the first time running since being back on US soil. Because I feel like the boat is still rocking I'm thinking it's jet lag.
Finally, the weather was perfect. The past couple of years, it was sunny and clear (in San Francisco?!).
I will say, because of the jet lag, it felt difficult to run. But I made it.
I recommend this run. "

"Amazingly beautiful course...the weather this time of year is amazing!
The hill to the finish is a bit unnecessary and the mile markers were off, but a great race overall."

"The beauty of the course trumps everything else there is to review about this race.
The only critical thing I'd say is having a hill up to the Finish line was just cruel."

"I love the Bridge to Bridge. The course is a nice "tourist" run through the bay side of San Francisco. Starting at Justin Herman Plaza, there are usually vendors setting up or set up selling stuff. Not that I ever buy anything but it gives you something to do while waiting for the start. It's nice to be able to run in front of Pier 39 with the streets shut down and then Acquatic Park, a slight hill and then to the Golden Gate Bridge. The past three years I've run this it's been clear and the GG is absolutely beautiful when there is no fog! This year I got my new running gals into it. One ran the 7K and the other ran the 12K, we've all agreed this is a race we will run year after year. I love that parking around Justin Herman Plaza a free. I love that there is the shuttle to get back to Justin Herman Plaza. "
