"This year's Stadium to Stadium was a HUGE improvement over past years. This is the mayor's race, so I was really disappointed with the lack of organization in the past. The addition of water stations (which seemed to be lacking last year) and a start line (which was also nonexistent in 2008) were just the beginning. Chip timing was an added bonus!
The Club Championship is really what made this race fun for me and the other members of the SF Road Runners - we were looking for the title of "San Francisco's #1 Running Club", so we had a really strong showing.
The course is never going to be the best, but it is what it is...unfortunately, to get from AT&T Park to Candlestick, you have to run through some of the less enticing parts of San Francisco. It's not a bad course though, a few rolling hills, and it is pretty cool to finish on the field at Candlestick.
Best part of the race is the snow cones at the finish! :) Now if the mayor would only toe the line next time, the race would be complete!"

"I really enjoyed the course - it was great to run in a different area of the city. The Embarcadero, etc are always pretty so it's nice to see something a little different, but the course wasn't that clearly marked. However, finishing in Candlestick and stretching on the 50-yard line was amazing!
I felt the post-race expo could have been a little more organized (i.e. bag pickup being clearly marked, not giving out the shirts AFTER the race) and I disagreed with having an aid station halfway up a hill. I'd also like to see one more aid station nearish the end - the last 2 miles are a little bit of a morale killer because it feels like you're never going to get to the entrance of the Candlestick parking lot. I was running on empty by that point and some extra water would have given me a boost.
Overall, it was a good experience and I'd definitely run it again."

"Stadium to Stadium was a great event. It was very well prepared and the route took you down through the Bayview and then Hunters Point area. Traffic management and course marking was awesome. The crowd was very cheery and fun to be around. Overall, the village was a little weird. Not enough seating and it wasn't very clear where to pick up from sweat check. A great time nonetheless."
