2 Reviews for Runner's Den Fiesta Bowl Half Marathon and 5K

"This year I ran the Half Marathon portion of this event. Registration and packet pick up easy and organized. Technical shirt in SWAG bag. There was an early start for those expecting to run the event in more than 3 hours. The 5 K started 5 minutes after the Half Marathon start. Easy to find free parking. This year there was a gear bag check in which was efficient and made it easy to drop off/pick up items. The course is relatively flat, with minor small hills, and consists of street and multi-use pathways. Excellent traffic control. Good hydration support. Nice medal at end of race for HM participants. Bagels and oranges at end or race. They posted the preliminary results at the race site, but I had to leave before seeing mine. I enjoyed this event, even more than the 5K, and hope to do it again. There was an Expo/Vendors at the race site, but I did not take the time to check it out."

"Parking is free in surrounding parking lots. There is no Expo before the race but there were vendors at site of the race. Swag includes a technical short sleeve shirt. Course is mostly flat, with a couple of relatively small hills. Good traffic control. Crowds at start/finish were great. All ages. Some people with high tech gear, others with the basics. The Half Marathon has an earlier start. No place to stow away your personal items at the race site, so leave with a friend/family or in your car. "
