"The Course at the Santa Barbara Half Marathon was beautiful! The weather was perfect and the course was very scenic. The course never got boring, rolling hills in the beginning with a steeper uphill switchback climb about halfway through which was tough, but once you got to the top of that, the course opens up and you get a nice long, relaxing downhill.
Its an awesome place to hang out after the race also! The town was adorable with great breakfast spots for a late brunch, and enough of them that the waits weren't very long. The free gear at the end was kinda tough to get, long, slightly disorganized lines... didn't end up getting my wine glass at the end, it wasn't worth the chaos and the wait in line.
All in all a beautiful race though, so happy I did it and looking forward to next years race!"
