"I like the course. Bay swim at the yacht club (see how the other half live!)Bike is three loops through town with traffic well controlled; I do dislike loops though, as the turns cost me speed! Run is past some nice multi-million dollar houses. Hit the beach after the race. This year had a nice sleeveless tech tee and a real nice insulated squirt bottle-big improvement over other years."

"On a whim, my sister and I decided to race in the Stone Harbor Tri this summer.
The course on 7-mile Island is very flat. The swim went in a circle around the bay in front of the SH Yacht club, the bike was a 3 loop flat, straight course down the island, and the run was a flat, straight out and back.
The transition area was on asphalt and pretty cramped, even for the 370 participants.
All in all, a great race for locals and people looking for a super fast time due to a super easy course."
