"The race was well executed. Enough volunteers and water stations. Fun to have Firemen and chocolate! Also liked the finishers necklace!
Starting corrals were pretty congested, but the real problem was that the narrow trail stayed very congested for the first part of the race. It's not possible to pass people over a narrow bridge... It did break up nicely a few km in.
It was a very hot day, and there was not a lot of shade even though we were in a park. Also the course was quite hilly - especially towards the 14km mark.
The reason I would not run this race again was because there were so few spectators except at the end of the race (it is difficult for spectators to access other parts of the course). I also did not enjoy navigating around bikers and walkers with whom we had to share the trail."

"well-executed for its inaugural year. the course was a little difficult to navigate at times with narrow trails through the park (out-and-back portions where there were two directions of traffic, in particular) and the park was not closed to the public. still, the beautiful park scenery made up for it. finisher's necklace was a nice touch! firefighter's aid station and chocolate station too."
