"WARNING!!! BAYSHORE IS NOT FLAT! When friends, family or race promoters tell you about the gorgeous rolling course which is flat, look them all square in the eye and say "how is it possible that a rolling course is flat?" Bayshore IS gorgeous, the views of Grand Traverse Bay and the stunning vacation homes. But by rolling they mean hills, not steep inclines, but slow gradual inclines that suck the life out of your legs and by mile 12 or so you will feel it! 2 gu stations, oranges around mile 10 or so with the loudest dj on the face of the earth WOO HOOING you along long on loudspeaker as if for some reason you wouldn't be able to hear her WOO HOOING as she stands pretty much on the course.
The course finishes on the high school track where you'll be rewarded with tons of fans (not a ton throughout though), your sweet medal and Coldstone Creamery Ice Cream.
Nice shirt but weird logo. I've worn it once and get alot of people looking at me with a tilted head as if they're trying to make out what exactly it is on my shirt."
