"Great race. The course is fast and very scenic. Many times, when races claim to be flat or downhill, they seem neither. This one was definitely headed for death valley.
The raceday was awesome..verge of raining, but not one single drop. The aid stations were well run and had plenty of volunteers. The race start was organized and they provided free personal bag drop off.....Only prob at the start was they could have used a few additional port-o-potties.
Finish line was in beautiful Stanley Park, so we got to rent bikes and sightsee the rest of the day.
This was my first international race, so wasn't quite use to the kilometer markers instead of mile markers..but doing the math kept me preoccupied.
Overall, a great experience and i would definitely do it again if I was up there. I got a PR of 1:27
