"I ran this marathon in the Spring of 08 as a first time marathon maniac. I was amazed how many maniacs there were, especially at this marathon. I met the Dolphins for the first time and they made me feel like I'd known them their whole lifes.
I hit a major wall for 3 miles around that very large hill and had to run through it or I would have not met my goal of under 5 hours. It's a you against the world course. A must do at least one time if you are a Washington resident. Probably the prettiest one in Washington overall."

"Beautiful run on the closed off River Canyon in early April when the weather is generally sunny and in the 60's at most. It's a lonely marathon with it being smaller participant wise, but the Dolphins (The RD's) make you feel at home from the very beginning. It's like a family reunion and a runners marathon. The last part of the course has a very large mountain by a gorgeous Dam, but you have to expect that when you have "Canyon" as part of the marathon name! :-) This is a very nice first marathon of the year for those who run multiple marathons. Also it's very running club orientated, the marathon maniacs had their reunion in 09. I've run this two years ago and if Heaven has a marathon, the Dolphins will be the RD's!"
